Crown Hill Heritage Foundation

One of the most famous memorials within the 555 acres of Crown Hill Cemetery, the third-largest non-governmental cemetery in the U.S., honors Mary Ella McGinnis, who died on August 6, 1875, at the age of six. If you stand in just the right spot at the right time of day, her statue appears to return your gaze. B Plus C Communications featured photographs of her memorial in our design of a pocket folder for the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Crown Hill Heritage Foundation, which raises funds to preserve the cemetery’s historic treasures, including this endangered Italian-marble likeness of a little girl in a lace-trimmed dress with a flower-filled apron.
